                                           GP appointments are now available in your area during the evenings and at the weekend. To book an appointment, contact your practice. 


March 2019 Changes 

Throughout March 2019, the surgery will be making changes to our website design, telephone system and availability of appointments bookable online.

We hope that the new website will be easier for patients to navigate to the information they find most useful.

Our Telephone system options are being streamlined to ease queue times for patients.

A greater proportion of our on the day, same day emergency appointments will be made available to book online.

We hope our patients will find the above changes beneficial.


Befriending Volunteers

         Do you have time to lend a hand and help a lonely older person?

As a befriender you could provide company for a lonely older person in south Gloucestershire.

Befrienders get matched with a person in the community and then visit or call them on a regular basis to provide companionship.

If you are interested in becoming a befriender or would like some more information please pass you details to a member of the reception team and the Operations Manager will get in touch with you.

National Data Opt -Out

The national date-opt was made available to the general public on the same day as GDPR went live, 25th May 2018. It allows patients to choose whether they want their confidential patient information to be used for purposes beyond their individual care and treatment, such as for clinical audit and research purposes. Patients that wish to opt-out of this, are required to complete a notification on NHS Digital see link below, unfortunately this cannot be recorded via the GP Surgery.

General Data Protection Regulations

As of 25th May 2018, new data protection regulations are being introduced. Keeping your data safe and secure is our top priority. The changes won't alter the way we use and protect your personal information, but it will make it easier for you to find out how we use it.

There is no action that you need to take. However, the surgery has produced a 'Privacy Notice' to give you more information on how we use your information. This is linked below.

Improved Access to Physiotherapy Appointment 

Kingswood Health Centre is pleased to let patients know of a new service available. From January 2018, If you ring the surgery with an acute joint, muscle of spinal problem that you have had for less than six weeks, you may now be offered a face to face physiotherapy appointment at another local surgery within a week of making contact with the surgery. These appointments are being held out of our core hours during the week and on Saturday and Sundays.

Kingswood Health Centre is very pleased to share with our patients, the findings and results of our most recent CQC Inspection undertaken on 16th August 2016.
